Been gettin to the river a bit…

and catchin a few rainbow. They are spawning and stacked up on their beds, but still a challenge sometimes on what they want. And even to land one especially on a fly rod. Also incredible to see them running up this small tributary as they try to spawn. Definite trophy size trout in 20+ inch size range. Check this video, stream is only a few inches dip, and you can step across.

Great catching and pics buddy! So nice to see you and JB out on the water again. So looking forward to my trip in July. Had to promise Lynn that I would come home and not stay there

Great pics Tim! Still have not had time to do any fishing down here in AZ. Our return to Bozeman is fast approaching. We should be back before Mothers Day. Looking forward to getting the boat out of storage and hitting the Lake.

I may be mistaken fridge but I think that is the Missouri.

That could be. I have seen the Mississippi but I don't believe I have seen the Missouri. It sure is pretty in Montana.
