Getting about time to plant watermelon I only grow Crimson Sweet melons.I think they are the best tasting and they keep really well. I 've picked them in September and had watermelon for Thanksgiving. I love watermelon too

Back in the sixties if my mom couldn't raise water melons in the garden we would go down to the mini-nite colony on the Missouri river
after the first good frost and for 5.00$ we could put as may melons on the floor of dads 6 foot by 8 foot truck bed. We couldn't stack them but put them as close together as we could........then we take them home and cover them with oats in an oats bin.......they would last clear in to December..... Good times......good days.....later.

I pulled the attic steps down for Gordon and passed him on my way up. Than it came to me, maybe Oz is talking about cotton candy.

So good to be back on the 2nd floor, but I will leave the steps down for others with a warped mind.
