Went ultralight jigging in 62 degrees Turnmill Pond this evening on a warm, cloudy day during a sou’wester gale and flood watch. Saw four fishermen catch nothing. A beaver 🦫 was swimming in the pond. Took photos. Caught and released 5 pickerel to 18” and 2 yellow perch with an 1/8 oz white twister tail jig. Quit early and before the evening bite started because of the rain. Lots of lily pads are on the surface of the pond already.
Nice bands, between the blustery wind and rain I didn’t wet a line.
