Hello stagers,
Today's trivia question has to do with Historical Persons.
Who was Mrs Silance Dogwood and
Polly Barker?
For those new to the game.
Knowledge and guessing are acceptable πŸ˜‰
If you must look it up please refrain from posting πŸ“«
It's more fun to see what people know and of course the wacky answers

Thanks charlykilo you are correct.
The correct name should be Mrs Silance DOGOOD.
Not Dogwood
I accidentally added a w to the last name.
Thanks again for catching my error.

Mrs. Silence Dogood was Ben Franklin’s pen name.
I don’t know who Polly Barker was. A dog perhaps? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

Congratulations Jer 🎊 you win today's trivia question.
Actually both of them are pseudo names for
Benjamin Franklin.
As a teenager he worked for his older brother's newspaper business. Secretly he began sending a society column under the name of Mrs Silance Dogood, and later fashion and housekeeping tips under the name of Polly Baker.
He would later end owning his brother's business.
Thanks again to all who participated.

Ol Ben was more than our school history picture also. Maybe the James Bond of the time.
Very intriguing man.
