Went fishing 🎣 in 64 degree Carnegie Lake this evening on the hottest day of the year. The temperature in my car was 90 degrees. Caught and released 5 bluegills, 2 black crappies to 10”, 2 white perch to 9” and a pumpkinseed sunfish with Walmart red worms 🪱. After I used up all of my bait, I caught fish 🐠 with a 1/32 oz tube jig on 4 lb test line. Lots of fish 🐠 were jumping. Many people were at the lake. An adult bald eagle 🦅 caught a fish. Double crested cormorants caught and swallowed gizzard shad. A beaver 🦫 swam across the cove at dusk. Took pictures. Saw a lot of box elder beetles on Ward Avenue today. A trout fisherman said that corn 🌽 was in the trout that he caught.

It definitely looks like spring is there for you. We got to the lake yesterday, Tuesday, also but didn't have the same results. An 11 inch crappie was the only thing that kept us from being skunked. I hope it grows up so I can take it home another time.
