After any kind of time away it has always been good to get back home. Every time I can get out it is like coming home!!

Looking forward to this day. Maybe today's showers will be the last.
In a sense we are coming home. We were created from dust so being out in nature is really home. Great post

Nature is home to me, love to be out in it 🎣🙏
My Dad was fond of repeating this quote, HOME IS WHEN YOU GO THERE, THEY HAVE TO TAKE YOU IN!" Just Sayin...RJS
I always feel at home when I'm in nature whether I'm hunting or fishing 😊

Great one Wulffy. Living in the country, I am fortunate to have nature right out my back door.

Me too Scud. I wouldn’t trade it for nuthin!!
Truly concur, Wulffy.
And how did you get a picture of my new house's backyard ?....lol
I may have to drive 30 minutes+ to get to a "real" grocery store or a hardware store, but have yet to hear any car alarms going off, no interstate rumble, no sirens or loud "fart cars"....just a lonely hoot owl at night.
Loving living rural once again and at the northern end of a 10 mile long lake that is the Rogue River's only impoundment until you reach the Pacific ocean.
Life is good amongst the tall pines and fir trees...I will never take it for granted.
