Boat's not ready to go anywhere yet and I'm looking to get in on some spring Chinook. Does anybody have any advice on where a person can go plunking in either the nestucca River or on the Willamette River? Equipment and technique advice would be greatly appreciated. Tight lines everyone
Might wanna NOT use voice-to-text next time, especially when it's the heading...hehehe.
And here I thought you might be using something in a "pumpkin color" or even pumpkin as a bait somehow....oh well.
Not familiar with those rivers, sorry.
However, my buddies tell me that they are PLUNKING on the Rogue at Gold Beach with daily success, so the crop coming in is amenable to the technique this year. They're using Spin-n-glo's and 3-5oz weight, about 30'-50' from shore.
Good luck !!
It wasn't voice to text, just my damn phone auto correct.
