Well first run of the new season, got a few and kept a couple. Broght 2 crappies, 1 perch ,and two cats for my guy in room 1 . Everything is working properly on the yac. Water temp was 48/49Β° already the north end is shallow most of it 4-5' deep and the water is stained so it warms up pretty fast. Today is the first day that the wind wasn't in the teens and a 4-5 mph wind was great. My Great niece and nephew were out yesterday with their Dad and Grandpa respectively for the Mentor day. Stephen 10 yrs old caught 12 in a little over an hour his biggest of the day was a dandy 24" rainbow trout and now I know it runs in the family ( he wanted to put it back in so someone else could catch it). What a great young man. His Sister Rachel caught 7 in an hour fishing with her Dad in a different spot . I'll post those pics after I ask permission of their parents.
Sorry about the bucket photo but I was very busy once getting home.πΈπΈπΈπΈπΈπΊπ²πΊπ²π

Well, you know, the reason your bucket wasn't full of fish is because it's the wrong color.
Gotta be GREEN if you wanna get a full bucket of fish.

Glad your shakedown run was successful Andy. Hopefully your water will warm up soon, and the Bass will be moving up. Very nice of you to provide some meals for a friend.

Mostly the north end of Pymatuning and Edinboro Lakes. Really hard driving past either of these lakes as they're both fairly close apx 20 miles from me.
They're both great fisheries and have some bigger bass that are ready to chew on frogs! πΈπΈπΈπΈπΈπΊπ²πΊπ²π

Time's up couldn't wait any longer !!!! As long as the wind is under 7-8 mph I don't care if it rains or snows. . But don't blame anyone for waiting. πΈπΈπΈπΈπΈπΊπ²πΊπ²π
