Watching Ben’s dog Boone

No fishing today, watching son Ben’s Britt Boone for the next 2 days. He’s a jet-fueled 2 year old, took him out to my buddy’s farm and ran him with his English Asa. Boone pointed a woodcock which was pretty cool. Didn’t even begin to tire him out.

My son picked up his third Britney, a 9 month old, a couple of months ago. Talk about total chaos. Although the older two have slowed down a bit…

Nice Britt. Love it when they point. Had a
Vizsla pup in 1974. Training her was enjoyable, pointing and hold the point till I said flush. Put a lot of time in her then about 1 1/2 yrs old she got hit by a car. She had ear damage from dislocated jaw. Couldn’t use her for hunting but still took her out to ran her out to chase the birds. Mostly Pheasants. Trained with hand signals. Anyway Nice Brit. 🌴😎🌴
