As you can see there’s 3 people on the pier. Look how calm the water is. I have notice when the water is that slick the fish will not bite. We just had a storm the last few days so the fish went out to deeper waters. My guess is the weekend the mullets will show back up. Also in this area the spots are pitchers by now so there maybe some spots coming in this weekend. The weather should be nice. The second pic is Seaview Fishing Pier. This is the most popular pier on the Island. At any given time you don’t see anyone in this pier. Trust me they are not biting. You would be better off the go in the surf. You will more than likely pick up bigger fish in the surf. Plus you don’t have to pay to get in the pier and catch nothing If in the surf anywhere in NC be sure you have your license. Obey the rules as well. It’s $95.00 per fish with a $600.00 court cost and taking your equipment. Be safe out there.

That will raise the voice a few octaves.
Once took a cold shower in Alaska. It took 10 years for them fall again!

Well at least I provide the water. Doesn’t really matter anyway because you still don’t use it

Jumped in 35 degree water in Adak, I had to push the little feller out from the other side with a broomhandle for a week or so.

Sorry I late. It’s $14.00 which is 2 rods. Great place and friendly people. Seaview had a hotel right beside it and the price includes the pier.?They have a restaurant right there as well and will cook your catch.

Thanks. I've been trying to get my family, only cousins left at this point, to get together somewhere at the beach for a week but it's like herding chickens!!

We stopped going to The OBX and I don't care if I ever go back. The fishing is MUCH better on The Crystal Coast. After a wholesaler tried to sell me brined shrimp I lost all respect for the area.
