The fishing was kinda slow but we each caught a couple sauger. Like billy said better than a skunk.

Rode up to check Marburg today.
Still low.
Saw one older guy in a yak n a small flat bottom bring in a duck blind.
That was it.
Didn't look like they had all the docks in yet.
Only checked Marina ramp

Still a little to cold for my thin blood anyway to get to Marburg Butch.

They stocked my local stream and saw some fishers trying and not catching. This latest rain that came through will spread the trout out a bit so lengthen the season. Come the next decent morning I will give it a try.

The guy in the yak didn't look like he had his PFD on.
That water is cold n not alot of boat around to get to him.

Hopefully he had a low profile inflatable on. Sad that someone may think they don't need one.

He had a blue wind breaker on that all I saw.
By yourself even in warm weather is dangerous.
If something happens it's easy to go out of a yak.

We had 2 drowned in a pond last week. One in his 40s and one in his 20s, flipped over a canoe in 40° water. No PFDs.

They've had a several in the Susquehanna over the last few months.
Latest one was a girl.
Her n a guy on Front St side.
Walkway near the river.
If I remember right they'd been drinking.
Guy told officials she said she was going to jump in the water
Said he told her not to bit she jumped in anyhow.
Yep she drown. River was at 12 ft. In that area that's very fast water
Plus the low water dam is right there
It's every yrs up there.
