I have a reservoir rig for sale. I built a reservoir rig out of 2001, 14' Jon boat as a project this passed winter to keep myself busy. It has 2 - 48volt lithium batteries to run a 48volt Ray motor with a 48 volt charger, a 2024 load rite trailer, a side console with remote steering and throttle. A 70 lb. thrust 24 volt trolling motor with two lead acid batteries and onboard charger. An 8' locking rod locker, no slip flooring, 2 - adjustable pedestal seats and one fixed seat. Also a 9" Lowrance fish finder. Will cruise at 7.5 mph with one person. Looking to sell for $12k.

Nice job on the boat! One question for you. How long does the Ray motor run off the battery?

What exactly is a "reservoir rig"? What is it designed to do?

It's a Bass boat that is totally Electric. Some reservoirs are Electric motor only.

I'm not sure how long the battery will last. They are 50 amp hours. I have run the length of Liberty reservoir one and a half times at full throttle before the battery ran out. I have two batteries in the boat, wired with a switch so I can run on one or the other. This way I have reserve power, when one runs out I use the other one to return to the ramp. The batteries will last longer if you don't run at full throttle.

Love the 2 batteries idea. Hate having to paddle anymore. LOL
