Hello stagers,
Here's a interesting trivia question about money πŸ’°
I just found out that all denominations of US Bank Notes ( paper bills) weight the same.
How many US Bank Notes are in one Pound?
Note: This question deals with a actual 1 Pound weight. Not a British Pound.
I wanted to clarify that as to avoid any confusion πŸ˜•

450 or so . I always used to make sure my scale was reasonably accurate!

Don't know, I've never had that many paper bills at once.

Nutz4fish you are very close.
The actual amount of US monetary notes weighing one US pound is 454.

Interesting! Isn’t that the same as grams in a pound?

Thats the point. A freshly issued US paper bill weighs precisely 1 gram.

You are correct. I looked up How much does one brand new US bill weigh. The answer is indeed exactly one gram.
Over time and use they loose a little weight.
If only I could do that.
Thanks nutz for teaching me something today.

I would speculate that the weight stays the same. The weight of the dirt absorbed equals the weight of the fibers shed😊
