Called and they answered but said I can't message or talk with that emergency doctor I would have to come back in for another visit. Have been looking for a new family doctor as the previous one cared more about money than my health. Think I complained about her earlier this year. I had two appeals to Medicare, they don't care. Say I have to pay$296 to her.

My wife would like to find a new one too preferably a female that would show some care too. Seems like get in as many as they can spend as little time as possible and on to the next one. Getting a refill on a prescription is like pulling teeth. They act like they are doing you a favor by returning a call. Funny how on TV they are all happy and life is grand and no waiting if we should need to go to the ER.

Around here urgent care will not prescribe pain meds if needed thus why we keep Lifebridge Health care for appointments.

In my case it’s very true. I still live off the things he taught me.

You were Blessed to have a Father in your life that was there for you.

And from what I have read over the years your children are just as Blessed.

That may be true Plum, but from what I've seen, you still turned out to be a pretty good man.

Thanks Steve. A Step Dad was in my past in my mid teens and although he wasn't blood, the father figure was still very much available.

Well, at least you had him in your life. He probly helped you through some tough times at that age.

Afternoon dbed. I just looked at your weather and I sure hope you did get to the lake; upper 50's and basically calm wind. I just put my boat up getting ready for another ice a snow storm to move through this weekend. (But my wife, and fishing partner,is at work anyway)

To some extent I was kind of a easy kid to raise. Loved the out doors and liked helping the neighbors. Going in the Air Force was a decision all on my own that I think he would have liked to been involved in, but he had my back than and afterwards with helping a newly wed get on our feet afterwards.

Yeah, we have a lot in common. Goin into the AF was my own decision and my Mom was totally against it.
She knew and understood a lot more about Viet Nam than I did and didn't want me to join ANY branch of military at that time.

I got that you didn't do that speech from Mom when I came home and told them, but being 18 I had all the answers to life, Right!!! However, what was done was done.

Ended up with decent assignments being assigned to Panama and Florida. Once the 18 months in Panama was done with she breathed a sigh of relief. Had my daughter born in Florida than the pressure was really on to come home.
