I was in Hamburg Pa with my wife last week coming home from a business meeting.
My wife spots Cabela’s and tells me she wants to buy me a new pole and reel for my birthday. So of course I turned around, parked and we walked inside. I had an idea what I wanted and spent 45 minutes or so with the salesman discussing lures and such until I made my final choice. At this point my wife joined me and I thought it a nice gesture to buy her a new combo rather than her using my old “castoffs”.
I told the salesman
“ She’s going to be a lot easier than me….what color combos do you have?”
“Pink, blue, purple and red”he answered.
She chose the baby blue.
Then he asked—“one piece or two?
She insisted on a one piece saying
“ I haven’t worn a two piece in years!”
He was still chuckling when we left.
