Went fishing π£ in 60 degree Carnegie Lake this evening on a warm, cloudy day with a strong, cold north wind. Only saw 10 fishermen. A banded Canada goose was nearby. After losing two jigs and a hook to bottom snags, I fished with one rod. Caught and released 2 bluegills, a black crappie and a 12β largemouth bass with nightcrawlers. Saw 23 boats on the lake. Cormorants were fishing. Mallards π¦, mergansers, gulls, crows π¦ββ¬, herons, robins, doves, blackbirds and grackles were flying.
Congrats on doing better than we did. We were on the water for only 2 1/2 hours with nothing to show for it. I'm going to blame to solar calendar with it's poor fishing prediction.
