Steve that's Charlie Creek, it's a creek that runs about 25 miles though the county and into Peace River which runs into the Gulf of Mexico.. when we get lots of rain and the water is high there's snook and tarpon runs up the river and into the creek, they feast on tilapia (nile perch) which is a invasive species but very good eating, so is the Snook 🎣
I live 60 miles from any salt water and at times I can catch Snook in my backyard 😂🎣 and too it's full of wildlife even had a few Black Bear roaming around, only bad thing are more Pythons are moving north 🥴 oh yeah we do have a wampus cat that runs loose and every now and then he gets hungry 😂😂 hope you have a great week buddy 🎣🙏

I read an article about the Florida Panthers. Seem to be making a comeback.

Great shot on its own, but the man and dog finish the leading lines making this a super shot.

That's a statute of a panther down in the Everglades 😂
There's a few around here sometimes you an hear them screaming at night...most people are scared of them, but really their scared of people . I'd rather have them and the wildlife around than most people.😂

A quite walk with your dog. Hope you enjoy.

Walking the dog. Bushnell, Florida, USA. Photo by Dick Pratt

That pix reminds me of the Robert Frost poem, A Road Not Taken, and the last two lines of said poem. " I have miles to go before I sleep and miles to go miles to go before I sleep.
