Hello stagers
I've often been called a." Old Geezer but
Where did it originate
When did it originate, and
What was the original meaning of the word Geezer 🤔
Perhaps some of you have been called this before and the name caller was not even aware of what they were referring to
The Old Geezer?

I think it has to do with the term guiser for the 1880s and meant someone in disguise. The root word guise meant a mask, or odd man. This was in England and used mainly by the cockney version of english.
