Shore fisherman needs level platform to fish slip bobber

Would love any information on places to fish from shore with a flat level surface. I fish using 4 inch minnows on a slip bobber rig. Location could be 60 miles from Orland park, Illinois in either direction thank you ahead of time God bless, tight lines, Jerry Klein.

Navy Pier in downtown Chicago for perch. Slip bobbers set near the bottom or small cast masters are working. Drop shot with 2” White plastic or Gulp minnows, too. The limit is 15. Good luck!

Hello. The fox and illinois rivers offer flat and stable grounds in some locations. Morris on the illinois and silver springs park near sandwich on the fox are good options. Silver springs stocks trout around this time but it gets crowded. Good luck.
