The T***h about inflation

What took a dollar to buy in 2019 when Trump was President now takes 1.21 in Biden dollars.
Or what you bought for 1,000 in Trump dollars costs you 1,210 in Biden dollars.
A dollar today only buys 82.645 of what it could buy in 2019.
Average Gas was 2.60 in 2019
Today 3.30. A 30% increase
Factoring inflation we are really paying 4.00 a gallon.

Some of the things that I buy doubled in price recently. 100% inflation sucks.

It is bad. I’ve got to see the value. Bacon went up to 9 but came doesn’t to 5-7 I guess because no one was buying it. Eggs came down too. I used to love going out to breakfast but not anymore 30 dollars for 2 without meat isn’t worth it to me.

Meanwhile they keep ducking the issues.

The can spin it anyway they want, but the things I purchase went up 30% at a minimum. Gas had doubled, but has come down a bit recently, but the Summer Blend is coming 🤦🏼‍♂️$

Yeah, going out to breakfast WAS a nice way to get out in the community and just chill with the other locals. Was a big part of my social life, sad as that may seem. Inflation #'s out of the Labor Department are total fabrications, they must think we're all pretty stupid to try to sell this nonsense to us !

Most all of the early numbers we got on inflation, jobs and unemployment were changed later later in the month when the real numbers came out.

Placerville, The numbers on inflation are still way outta line. When the taxpayers are footing the bills, it apparently doesn't mean much to the swamp bureaucrats. The elitist wealthy that suck the masses dry have no real reason for concern. They'll throw a few bones to the groups that v**e to keep their sorry a$zes in control, and ignore the plight of the middle & working classes. Just my opinion.

A good part of that was NOT the high price of gas, but Diesel !
All of the deliveries are by Truck! Higher prices due to higher fuel costs.
That's on top of the inflation %.
