Airborne Particulate from a volcanic eruption. We experienced it in 1980 following Mt. St. Helens.

I worked for 26 years installing and maintaining weather sensor systems. In all that time, I learned only two things about the weather:
1) Lightning makes up an entire new set of rules about its effects for every strike.
2) The wind is a WOMAN. ....Always changing its mind!

A Vog is a volcanic fog caused by a ash plume
It is often a followed up by volcanic lightening caused by the electricity charged partials in the air.
Sometimes I think my mind is in a Vog. Right after waking up in the morning and before coffee ☕️
