First ever Blue Cat

Well finally hooked a Blue Cat, this is what I moved to Lake Marion area to catch. Now so far 8 lbs is my PB so now to move up in size.

Good catch ,keep at it there are more
PB,s waiting. I have heard that the canal between the two lakes is a great place for a big bluecat.

Nice Zac I've never caught one.
I hear they get huge.

Nice cat Zac, although not a fisherman my dad loved cats above all else.

That's a nice blue Zac. I know there are a lot bigger ones in that lake. Back in the late 80s I was living in Summerville SC. and fished a catfish tournament with a buddy and caught a 72 pound blue that was weighed and released.
No we didn't win, wasn't even close.

The big ones are fun to catch but we aren't fans for eating them. But congrats on catching your first and may you catch many more and larger blues.

I agree, I'll keep this size and smaller to eat and everything over will be catch and release
