Well guys I got to fish for two hours this morning, only caught one but it was a nice one 4 pounds 14 oz. Although it was a very ugly landing, I dropped my rod on the hook set then dropped it again after it jumped I somehow managed to land this guy. Man it felt good to get this guy on and fight it back to the boat. I've been dreading my upcoming surgery but after dropping my rod twice, surprised it didn't go in the lake, I'm thinking it's past time so I'll be glad when it's over.

Thanks Saw, It's my grip just can't hold on to much of anything with my right hand, guess I'll have to swap to a bait caster till if I go again before the 14th.

Nice fish bro. If you're only going to catch one...then a 4#'r is worth it. I had a pinched nerve and had the same issues. Surgery will definitely help. I wish you the best for a speedy recovery and more time on the water.
