Entertaining it would be Matt. Being a parent of either sure would be a challenge.

Yes but both like the outdoor activities. Beats the iPhone, computer age. The use of imagination, is unbeatable.

Matt, you ever notice in older movies how kids played outside using their imagination to have fun? Not so much today is it. Occasionally I walk through a neighborhood where there are little ones from the obvious signs of bikes on the ground and chalked up driveways. But no kids outside to be found.

Sure they may inside taking a break or having something to eat, but my guess it is a electronic play time break. I just think back to my days in the sun was from sun up to sunset only interrupted by being called to come eat.

I had to be home for dinner, then after dinner I had to be home before the street lights came on. Sunday’s were the only day I had to be at the house, but I would be in the backyard doing something with my siblings.

Very true Bob. If it was raining, we were bored because we couldn't go outside

We were fortunate in many ways back than Matt, and maybe to young to realize it. And now fortunate once again that we can recall the times we spent being happy and care free.

We were basement dwellers on rainy days Terry. Roller skates going round and round that concrete floor grabbing the Lally column and propelling to the other side of the room or crashing into stuff we had moved out of the way.

Than don't forget the board games, sorry, clue, parcheesi, monopoly and of course checkers. Yep never a dull time growing up, just took a little initiative.

Me either Matt. Knowing what we know now, it's going to be rather challenging for the grandkid generation.

The grandkids visited us for thanksgiving, and when I picked them up at the airport, the first thing my granddaughter asked me how my garden was doing. So I do my part when I can, since they are out in Oregon, and I’m in Michigan. But they do a lot of hiking in Oregon. So maybe it is working.

That was really nice that they visited you on such a busy traveling time of the year. I see those lines at airports on the news and say no way.

But to remember your garden was icing on the cake I bet. Like you say maybe it is working. Keep watering it with Love and they will grow.

Yes I agree on the traveling thing. That doesn’t look relaxing, especially at our young age.
