Hello, I am not proud to say I am the worst fisherman in the world. It is hard for me to catch a cold, let alone a fish. But I have fun trying and occasionally the fish feel sorry for me and give themselves up for me. I mainly catch and release since I don't necessarily like dealing with the fish afterwards. My dream is to fish for Mahi Mahi in Mexico, then go to a beach and make fish tacos and have some cold beer.

How is Lake Mojave these days? Back in ‘79, I worked the summer at Cottonwood Cove.
I worked long days that summer, but found time to fish after dark.
Caught mainly cats. However did catch a few very nice largemouths working the cove points.
These days I fish Smith Mountain Lake in Virginia!

I never caught a fish in Lake Mojave. Because of the filtering effects of the dam, it waters are so much clearer and cleaner than Lake Mead. I wish I had spent more time there.
