Here's a interesting word from the 16th century 😀
What does the word Tocsin mean?
It is of French lineage and many of you have done well in that category. You should have no problem.

Major you are correct. Tocsin is the 16th century French word for a Bell or Alarm.
For whom the tocsin tolls.
