Had some time to kill while I was getting some tire work done at our local Walmart and was wandering around the sporting goods department. Saw a rack of Realtree Fishing Shorts. Over 60 years of fishing and never knew such a thing existed! Do I need "fishing shorts"? I've always worn jeans or swim trunks or plain old shorts. Is that why I get skunked so much ? How do the fish know?

In order to sale more stuff I read once that you also have to wear a light blue shirt that has fluffy white clouds printed on it so if the fish looks up it isn't scared off by your bright Hawaiian shirt. Don't we all believe that?? 🙃😴

I love fishin shorts!! Light weight, water resistant with plenty of pockets!!! May not be an essential but they sure are nice and comfortable on a hot summer day.
