Avid fisherman but have been "indisposed" for last 10 years. Ex tournament fisherman w/o a boat looking to try my luck at bank fishing for crappie, whites, cats (just wanting to feel that tug again). Only lived in Jacksonville since October '23. Any suggestions for good public bank access greatly appreciated.

Gordon, thanks for the heads up on FL fishing but I'm actually in Jacksonville, TX. I still waiting for customer support to revise my location preferences. I can't figure how to change it.

Neches River below Lake Palestine dam. Lake Jacksonville spill way discharge channel, if it still accessible. Mud Creek at the wooden bridge at Ponta. Also Striker Creek below the Lake Striker dam. I was born and raised in Jacksonville TX and fished all of these spots. Good catchin'!

Thanks jt. I'm hoping to get another boat. Just missed a great deal on CRAIGSLIST. Too old for the bass fishing scene. Ready to downsize to 15-16 ft crappie type with 50 max hp. Charlie
