If it's worth worrying, it's worthy fixing, so fix it.
We try, but sometimes our efforts are not recognized or rewarded so we worry about how best to accomplish the goal. At least that's what happens with me. I'm not one to give up.
Much easier said than done. Iโve gotten a bit better but wife Betsy needs some help.
At one time I was always asking myself โWhat if?โ Then playing scenarios out in my head. It was how I worried. I found that most of the time the what ifs never happened and when they did my reactions were generally contrary to what I had played out. So as in the spirit of yesterdays thought I taught myself to let go. I let go of the desire to be in control. Being in control is a fantasy anyway. The only control I can exercise is over myself. Take a deep breath, close eyes, let it drift away from you.
When I went through CNA(Certified Nursing Assistant) training we had tests every week. You had to score 80 or better. If you had two tests below 80, you were out of the class and no refund of your $1000 tuition.
Most of the students were younger women in their 20s. I was 60 at the time. Many of the women were nervous and worried on testing days. The teacher asked me one time why I wasn't worried on test day. I told her if worrying improved my test score or anything else in my life, I'd do it all the time.

I hear you Graywulff. Until I got to this age of life where I fully understand that more is not better, I would try really hard to "let go and let God". And we can only walk on water when it's hard. (Think about it.)
