Yes it is a gun. Now the bottom part, which is supposed to have the serial number for tracking, is also a problem on "Make your own". An AR-15 type rifle is a Semi-automatic rifle. So IF someone buys a second barrel and shoots someone and then swaps barrels, they better pickup the shell casings also.

In my opinion, nobody outside of law enforcement or the military should have access to them, but I do know of a few friends who do have them.
There shouldn't be a law enforcement officer in the field without one, as for the citizens they should have the option.

I truly believe that everyone has the right to defend themselves, without question. I guess I believe my shotgun or deer rifle should be enough(?)
Unfortunately, the AR platform rifles in the gun shops are the most popular among the young kids, probably due to the video games they play.
Video games are definitely part of the problem, the new baby sitter and no real conciquinces push a button and go again.

I guess my opinion is different. In the video they said the lower part of the ar15 alone is a gun, which to me is like saying an engine alone is a car.
