Really not much different than Sleepy Joe wanting a nationwide minimum wage of $15 an hour. Just look at how much food prices have risen since 2020. And that not even fully implemented $15. Can you imagine what $50 an hour would do to prices of everything. Also anyone making $2 an hour over that is not going to get a corresponding raise, so now they are now the working poor too. Sorry minimum wage was never meant to be a living wage, it was established to help young people get jobs just starting out and some retired folks that need a little extra or just want to get out of the house and socialize.
