Yum. I picked up some ham hocks yesterday. I need to put a pot on. I have some Anasazi beans. For those not familiar with them they are a pinto bean discovered in the ancient ruins in the Sourhwest corner of Colorado. Look like a paint pony and a bit sweeter than pinto beans.

Every time we buy a ham with the bine in it, I'll make a big pot of red beans with the leftover bone. I leave a lot of ham on it and then I'll freeze several containers of the beans. So all I have to do is just thaw one out and they're great.
I do love cornbread with them but I don't make it that often.
