Heck, I and the wife are on SSA and $8900 a year retirement fay out, but can't get SNP or Food Stamps.LOL
Things aren't that bad for me as I have 70% VA Disability due to good old Agent Orange and finally the Pact Act for Hypertension. But the cost of an EVA car is way out of my budget. LOL They want more than my first house cost me. Heck, even the new Gas ones cost more. LOL

O ya very controversial islands in my opinion but I guess if they all get Tesla’s that’ll eliminate having to haul fuel to the island except to produce the electricity to charge the cars and keep the lights on

Your right I think even if I hit the lottery idk that I could buy a new truck if nothing else it would just hurt my feelings to know I paid that much for a vehicle

Rheatown, Not a problem, there are underwater cables from the mainlands associated with these islands. I'm guessing there's some generators out there also to provide emergency power for water, sewage, etc., so they probably need some diesel fuel for that.

For sure or any of the other elites for that matter just looks like with all that money would come at least a little bit of wisdom the power grid can’t handle everyone driving electric with all their knowledge and studies they should look at the states that has tried this nonsense they have rolling blackouts and tell you not to run your ac on hot days lol and expect you to charge your car I suppose within the next few years California will even have to charge there mowers, chainsaws, weed eaters,and anything else that has a motor I guess boats will be outlawed also I don’t see that going well
