I've been getting the digest for some time - moving from Abbeville (Thomas Mill Creek on Lake Eufaula) to Wilmer. After 60 years of having boats - giving my last one up so will be a ground pounder in the surf down at Dauphin I. & Orange Beach areas. Hope to see some of you around there sometime.

Great looking boat! I have been watching too many beach fishing videos on the old YouTube and have become quite interested in trying it myself. Hope to see you posting some catches and info/advice from your adventures.

Matt, Welcome to the Stage. Glad the loss of the boats didn't end your fishing days. There's an upside to ground pounding : no more trailering & fewer safety concerns. Good Luck 🍀. Happy to have you " coming aboard ".

13 miles N. of Abbeville, & 13 miles S. of Eufaula on Thomas Mill Creek. We converted the original store, bait house, fish camp that was here in the 1960's into a cabin and had a great time fishing here. Baker's Landing is now the store/bait house/ for the area and is right around the corner from us.
