There is a fishing pier behind Mote Marine on Lido and a little south in Osprey Main St pier! Longboat Key has a rock jetty and Point of Rocks Rd where beach ends and rocks start a fishy area too! Many bridge hot spots, just getting access is the issue!

In Venice, Casperson Beach has lots of jetties, Venice Pier is hot right now mackerel, pompano, jacks, and snook. Venice intercoastal inlet are all good places to fish

Try the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. Thee are large fishing piers on the north and south sides and you drive on the piers to where you want to fish, park, rig up, and start fishing.
