Stores that help spool a spinning reel?

I recently bought a Zacx telescopic pole and it comes with a spinning reel. I’ve watched countless videos on how to spool the line but it’s just not happening. I’ve heard about paying someone to spool the line for you. I live in Western Washington. Thanks a lot!

Most bait and tackle shops will do it, just make sure you give them good line or make sure they use good line. My brother had his spool done and they used cheap line that would twist up every cast

My local tackle shop does it, they tend to use standard Diawa line, it’s alright stuff if you ask me, but anyway, they charge like £5 per reel. Now I know you in the US but surely in a country where fishing is like a pro sport (think Bassmaster etc) that any tackle shop would do it for you

Bass Pro Shops will do it for free. I had a reel done there. I also tried to tip the guy but he wasn't allowed to accept it.

Take your empty reel to your bait shop that you frequent and purchase a good line that you are after from them and watch how they do it so that you can do it the next go around. They want your business and will do it properly.

What are you doing wrong? If your using regular mono just tie a loop in the end of your line and lasso your reel. then place a piece of tape over the knot with the line pulled tight and reel. If you use braided put a little tape on it or make a starter of mono and tie the braided to it. The tape helps because the first time I put braided on a reel the whole works just stayed in place as I tried to reel. It is really slippery stuff. Tape keeps it from doing that.
