Efraín, Jorge and I hit the spot yesterday. We caught our trout limit, and C&R a few more.
It began slow in the morning, with power bait, then we switched to bobbers with nigh crawlers and the party began.
6 lb test line and leader, a little weight under the bobber.
Great time, beautiful landscape, cool friends!

Nice catch. I have never seen a fish carrier like that. It looks real practical for toting fish. Do you also use it somehow as a stringer while you are fishing?

The one that looks like a hoop is like a safety pin. Divers and sometimes yak fishermen use them a lot.
They are really nice and easy to use.

Thanks. Now that you mention it, I have seen divers on TV use them. I never associated them with land use.

Yeah, they're kinda popular around here. But we live real close to the ocean.
Plus they're stainless steel so they don't rust as badly as other stringers.
