2024 Northeast M&G Bald Eagle State Park, Pennsylvania.
Connecticut Fishing, Delaware Fishing, Maryland Fishing, New Jersey Fishing, New York Fishing, Ohio Fishing, Pennsylvania Fishing, West Virginia Fishing
Well kids, it's time to make plans for the M&G. We'll be returning to beautiful Bald Eagle state park, in Howard PA. The gathering will take place the last week of June, the 24th -28th. In the past we have traveled on Monday and Friday, and fished Tuesday to Thursday. This year some of us are heading out there on Sunday, the 23rd, and staying till Saturday the 29th, so we can fish all week. As always, you can come and go whenever you want, if the whole week doesn't work for you.
There are 2 affordable hotels in Lamar, a Quality Inn, and a Hampton Inn, as well as a campground in the state park. A couple guys also rent a house near the lake, and there's more of them available, I'm sure. You are responsible for setting up your own lodging, and and providing your own food. We did gather at the house last year, and cooked some great meals there. Once again, Terry (Slimshady) and his wife Dee are our hosts, and provide boat storage and charging power if you need it. We have a wonderful time every year and hope more people can attend this year. If you have any questions, post them here, or send me a PM. I hope to meet and fish with more Stagers this year!
I'm gonna try and make it this year Fred. Lol

I sure hope so buddy, you have the easiest ride of anybody.
I’m sure we will be doing dinners at the house again this year. I’ve stocked up on yellow perch and walleye to do a fish fry.
What do you guys think about doing a fresh fish fry as well? Everybody fishes crappie part of the day Monday and we do a crappie fry on Tuesday? Then we could do walleye and perch on Thursday? I’m willing to fillet and prepare all the fish. Can’t eat to much fish on a fishing trip can you?!

Sounds like a great idea to me Jason.

Could you reach out to your friends that own the rental house? The house we got last year is available but I’d be interested in seeing what the other house is like/ costs.
Thanks
J

If it’s like last year it won’t take but an hour to catch 5or6 if we all did that we’ll have plenty for the fry.
My son got a 3-D printer for Christmas. I’m thinking about having him make us a Trophy or two. Maybe one for big fish and one for most fish? Any suggestions? Won’t cost me a thing. Could be fun.
SHIRTS?? Do we want to do shirts again? Same type or T-shirt?
Trophies could be cool.
I'd go for another shirt. I like the type we got last year, but take a vote. We all can benefit from the UV protection, I'm sure.

Good to know this early Fred, thanks for the info. Just got a small obstacle to hurtle before committing, but a
on a 2024 shirt.

Hopefully you can overcome your hurdle Bob, we want to see you there. I've been getting inquiries for a couple weeks, so I figured it was time.

Fingers, legs, arms crossed Fred, I've been looking forward to this trip ever since I was pulling away from the last one.

Slim ,always a blessing to have the resident pro available to let us know the conditions and where to catch em . Your advice from last year" IN THE LAKE" was spot on🙄🤪🤗. I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone again . Been chewing at the bit since I drove away last year. I'll be staying at the campground Oak loop . I'll be making reservations very soon. Still got a lot of lake to try out. Maybe I'll bring a frog and see how that works? . Be great to see everyone.🐸🐸🐸🐸🐸🇺🇲🇺🇲
