You won’t believe what happened to me.

I decided to buy my pick up truck at the end of a 3 year lease. I made an appointment with the salesman, bought it, drove 1 mile and had an accident. This was the first time in 56 years of driving that I hit another vehicle. I’ve hit my share of walls and trees but never a vehicle.
In heavy city traffic my pickup and another tried to occupy the center lane at the same time. We pulled over to exchange info. We both agreed that we didn’t see each other. I asked him what he did for a living. He answered—a kitchen installer. Wouldn’t you know I was looking for one and I ended up hiring him to install some kitchens. When the police arrived we both took responsibility for the accident. Now we’re friends.

Some of us believe there are no such things as coincidences.
I think that is very remarkable. Glad things seem to have worked out. Hope it continues.
Sorry bout the accident though.

That is so very good. It reminds me of Graywulf's post about loving your neighbor and your enemy. I know that the other driver was not an enemy, but it could have turned out that way. Your personal story is now an example of following the better way to face challenges with other people. And I do hope your trucks were not damaged to bad.

Mau, I do believe you and just shaking my head and feeling your pain from getting more than that 1st scratch.

You are a good man to take on your share of your responsibility. It could have gone another way for sure. Than to hire the guy, you must have a great sense of character

Hey Mark,
I think there’s a prophetic scripture that may be applied here - something about “All things working together for good for those who love God and are called according to His purpose…”
Just sayin’. 🥴🙏🏻
God works in mysterious ways!

My dad did that. He was 51 when I was born and 57 when my sister was born.
