Hello one and all. Looking for some advice on were to fly fishing in southwest Missouri this February. Getting the itch to get some winter trout in the net. Thanks for the help.
Thanks. How crowded do you think they will be? I’ve read that are quite crowded in the summer.
I have no clue the only 1 I have been to is Bennett, and it was in late spring.
I haven't gone in years.
Good luck.

Dittos on Taneycomo. It's a tail water, some shore fly fishing below the Table Rock dam, and a number of reasonably priced resorts further down, such as Lilley's Landing, Ozark Trout Resort (both with fishing docks), etc. Boats and tackle there also. Stockers, but huge trout as well. Check out Lilley's Landing One Cast in YouTube.

Taneycomo below Tablerock dam is a great place to trout fish. It is a artifical bait area, but there are tons of trout and fairly easy to catch. If you want to fish with power bait or live bait you have to go below fall creek and it is legal. I fish with small jerk baits and slay the brown trout. Good luck.
