I would like to pose a question... has anyone ever put braid in a spincast reel before? If you have, what is your experience with it?

I user braid on my spinning reels all of the time. I just use a leader of mono or flourcarbon. The fluorocarbon is better for stretch, nicks and the fish can't see it as well.
Thanks for the info. I use it on my spinning reels too, but i’m considering putting it on a SPINCAST reel. Do you have any helpful info regarding this type of reel?

I use is all the time on spincast, just put on a few feet of mono or tape to reel as the spool will turn and you think the drag is not working. Good luck.
