Looking to buy a way to measure fish, one of those sticks that has the lip at the end so you flush the fish against for an exact measurement. I'm finding tape measures are a bit too difficult with one hand. Thanks

Yak Gear makes one.

Rapala magnum folding ruler is the one that I have and it works fine. You have to make sure the hinges fold out flat to get an accurate measurement. Goes up to 60”.
It feels like it could break easily but it’s held up in my boat which lots of stuff doesn’t.

The fish stik by yak gear is what i have and i love it! It floats, folds, stores well, and it will hold a pair of fish grips in it while folded. Only annoying part was marking all the measuring lines with a permanent marker when i first got it.

I've made them from 4" thin wall S&D plastic pipe. Use a 36" piece of pipe and glue a flat end cap on. After it is dry, split it lengthwise using a band-saw. Lay an adhesive measuring tape on the bottom of the trough (usually freebie from Fish and Boat commission). Works well as it cradles the fish.
