That is deep this morning 52. The key word there is Listen. Listening is tossed out sometimes just when the one speaking / writing is not accepted as one that has a valid point.

Most people hear the talker but don’t listen. They are usually thinking about a reply to something that they heard. I have learned to concentrate on what is being said before I try to answer.

Yes Frank that google thing gets tossed out which is okay. However, it would be nice to know where they heard or read what they speak of. That friend of a friend stuff does not fly in my book either.
The other thing I noticed is folks do not read / listen to all the replies before they themselves post a reply.

I noticed on here that a lot of the posts are misread. Someone makes a general statement and someone else reads something that means entirely different and then they take it personally.

Especially in the can not take a joke department. That brain to fingers sometimes just does not reveal the joke quite right and feelings get bent out of shape.
In the past I do the PM thing when something seems not right or a joke I do not get and ask WTF did they mean, instead of going off on someone just because they do not like the joke or the person.
