Haven't had the Chance to poke main in a while. Went fushing on the river with my buddy and his 6 month old pit puppy. The pup hadn't seen me in about a month, and he was climbing out the window to see me. We walked about a mile upstream from the place we parked and set up on the deep stretch of river J picked. We rigged for a worm on the bottom and set a couple rods. After a bit, the dig settled down and one rid went off. Off into the river that us. Git a oretty hard hit for the water temp and we almost lost both the rod znd J into the river. Missed that one. Fished for another hour or so and. I tired the pup was really shivering laying on J's goodies, so we started packing up. He picked up the second rod, hey I've got a fish. Landed it and saw it was just barely on the hook, then it fell off. Returned it to the river and finished pac J ng. The dog and we warmed up as soon as we started walking back. Great day on the water.

Always love hearing fishing stories but my that looks cold. Been there and done that when I was young but Mr. Author Itus doesn't let me enjoy it anymore. Fish On.

This puppy is about 60 pounds and half grown. I can't put my two hands around his head.

That would cut off circulation if on lap very long, lol!! Did it go after the fish?

Other than having unlimited energy, he is a very well behaved dog. Once he gets over the initial excitement of something new he's very calm and easy to control. J spends a huge amount of time in training, which is good because this boy is going to be bigger than I am.
