Left NYC today on a cruise to the Caribbean with a first stop in Bermuda. My driveway was a sheet of ice and the car doors were frozen shut. I will be sharing some pictures of my trip to help warm up your old bones.

It definitely felt real this morning. I can’t remember the last time the doors froze. My wife found us a deal so I agreed. My compromise to her. She would like to spend the winter in Florida. I agreed to a 10 day cruise in January and a 10 day vacation to Florida in February.

Interesting that our first stop is Bermuda which I believe is 500 miles off of South Carolina. It’s supposed to be in the 60s-70s. Beats 18 with a wind chill on top of it.

Great way to visit Bermuda is in the summer on a cruise ship. The NCL ships dock for 3 days. They go out of NYC but might sail out of the Carolina’s too. The ships are like a mall on the water. They barely rock. The Bermuda trip is a great first trip for people queezy about cruising. Bermuda is very upscale and English. Very nice polite people.
