I was watching TBN yesterday, and caught an old (5 years ago) message by Pastor Allen Jackson about Bible prophesies concerning the land of Israel. In the first part of his sermon, he mentions and reaffirms a couple of truths/promises that we just talked about in our last devotion (#55) on Sunday. Keep in mind - this sermon was preached and recorded FIVE YEARS AGO, long before the recent
(Oct. 7, 2023) war started in Israel and Gaza.
Pastor Allen is probably the most knowledgeable Bible historian I know ( hence his History degree ), and does a great job explaining how the prophesies coordinate with Mid-East history, clear up to real-time events that are happening today. With all that is happening in Israel lately, I felt it may be of interest to at least some of you, as it was to me.
