Well guys, Ben and I got out on the water shortly after 0700. Got to the fishin grounds bout 0720. We couldn't find any fish much less any that wanted to play.
Bout 0900 we were leavin the mudflat and were trollin on our way out. I hooked and landed a nice little 19 incher but we threw it back to grow and that was it for the day.
We fished till a little past noon and got off the water.
I had 1 other bite for just 2 pumps of my rod while trollin on our way back up river.
We did mark a lot of fish in the upper river but NONE wanted to bite so we just called it an early day.
No pics of the little one today. But at least I caught 1 this time.
Headed back up to Tahoe on Wednesday so I won't be back till the 25th or 26th.
Not sure how many times I'll have to shovel the roof but I'm sure at least 4. Got several storms due in and already have over a foot on there now.
Y'all take care and I'll check in when I can.

I already have another guy lined up. It's that fella that looks back at me in the mirror in the mornin.
I also ask the Lord for strength and perseverance several times while I'm up there. They all haven't failed me yet.
Just have to take it slow and steady and I can usually get it done.
Took me 5 1/2 hours straight the last time I did it a week or so ago.

Thanks Denny. Imma try.
I'm ALWAYS careful. That's what I tell my Momma anyway.
Saw1,
Love reading your post. It's been a while since i fished the Napa river. At the time I would launch my boat using the Vallejo launch ramp. Checking Google earth the ramp does not look to be in great shape. I was wondering where you and Ben launch your boat to fish the Nape River?
Regards
Bill

Hey Bill. We always launch out of Cuttings Wharf.
You can go up river or down river and be fishin within 5 to 15 min.
