In 1975 or 76 I was raising feeder pigs in Southern Missouri the temperature dropped to -26 and I had 11 gilts pig that night with only heat lamps was up all night but I saved all the pigs the coldest temperature ever recorded in Missouri was -40 in 1905 about 40 miles north of Wheatland
