When winter keeps you home

I always have good intentions when it’s too cold for me to be outside fishing, don’t always do it all, but,I plan to change oil in the boat, organize my lures and gear, try to make two tackle bags, one for bank fishing and one for fishing from the boat,( been working on that one for a few years),clean rods and lubricate reels, refresh line on what needs to be, clean and organize garage (like that ever happens)what else can I be doing? And what are the things you do when you are kept at home for a while not being able to get out and fish, ,
I am able, it’s just too cold for me
I have plenty to do, the honey do list is long,
Just curious and don’t want to keep reading the same cr@p on the internet over and over

Well the thing for me is, it’s not too cold to go fishing, it’s just that I can’t handle the cold so it’s too cold for me to be out.
So I don’t go hunting either like most people I know do because I’m not going out and hanging out in the cold.
I just don’t like the cold lol

I’m just curious and wanted to start a topic because I’m bored and tired of reading the same thing all the time, I’d rather have some live responses

I check what I need to replace and then tell the wife I need a new rod. LOL
That gets me off the hook for new line, ect.
This is the time of year I order stuff in that takes a while to come in.
Line, tackle, ect that I will use the next year, Lord Willing I make it there. ; )

LOL
I usually try to get new line hooks sinkers whatever I think I need for the next year starting around thanksgiving and the Black Friday sales, and Cabela’s always does that thing where you spend so much and get however much off, my wife doesn’t fall for the new rod story, although I often get one for Christmas
She always says I have enough, I only have like 10 I think not counting hers.
I know someone who has about 80
