I haven't been but here's the report from:
https://www.ebparks.org/recreation/fishing/anglers-edge-online#reportDated 01.11.2024
Lake Dell Valle was exceptional this week with smallmouth, largemouth, trout and striper all posted. Duy Dinh and a friend posted both largemouth and smallmouth. There have been several keeper striper taken and limits of trout galore. With some stable weather predicted and following these weeks 1000-pound plant this weekend’s action should be great! The water level has not changed with The rain and is still extremely low. Try the East Swim Beach or the Narrows.
If you're taking a boat make sure that it's DRY -- they are extremely picky with the inspections.

Went out on 1/8 had no bites. Bottom fished dam to marina, trolled between spots. Saw two trout caught and one striper.
Thanks for the info. I use to fish it back when I lived in the bay area. Great lake to fish, but never fished it on a boat, so I never got to see how big this lake is. I am going to start planning a camping trip for this spring.
Had they planted that weekend?
They don’t say anymore whether they plant or not
What do they do about inspection in the rain?
Same as required, your boat must be dry.
🤔
Went out again this on 1/19. Sa plenty of DFG trout caught around the marina area. Saw no hold overs or Lassen trout. Fished marina to dam both trolling and bottom fishing. Water is low, boat ramp is at end of concrete and starting to have boat trailer wheels in mud at launch. My personel opinion is that they are cutting back on the amount of fish plants they have done from the years past. Very few people fishing lake( by observation).
